WEST END APARTMENT
This 2 bedroom apartment renovation was a study in future proofed perfection for this newly retired, social, independent and active woman with an intention to age in place, who had specific health concerns and the possibility of future mobility issues. The design needed to include future wheel-chair access, minimal trip hazards, installation of grab rails and the install of appropriate lighting.
SCOPE
Interior Design and Decoration of the entire apartment including the kitchen, lounge and dining area, bedrooms, ensuite, bathroom and laundry.
The design scope included new step free thresholds and engineered floorboards, lighting, safety night lights, switch plates, new custom joinery and benchtops, accessible walk-in pantry, appliances, new upholstered bar stools, tiles, taps, basins and window furnishings.
